Last night, I went to see Midnight in Paris with my best friends. It was absolutely amazing. The entire film was so inspiring and just made me feel so good and happy. Although it was completely opposite of what I was expecting, it was a positive surprise and it inspired my friends and I to come up with a new thing: Parisian Date Night.
We’ve decided that, since we are all so infatuated with the idea of Paris, we are going to bring it home to Ontario. Dressing up as your favorite fashion era for the beautiful city, picnics with baguette, wine, and cheese, cigarettes on the patio of Starbucks with a delicious beverage, fine French dining, walks along the boardwalk, and seeing our favorite movie again is on the menu for tonight. I’m so excited. We’ve already started planning our next one, which will take place in Toronto and consist of shopping at Kensington Market and eating some delicious food.
Speaking of Toronto, guess who has a home? That’s right folks, I signed the lease on Friday and am now an official tenant in The Village at York! I can’t wait. Even though the area can be pretty damn scary at times, the house is beautiful and I can’t wait to call it my home. I have a floor to myself, my own bathroom, and a huge fireplace in my room. It’s going to be amazing! I’m asking all of my artistic friends to contribute something as a house-warming gift so that it has some originality, so if any of you who read this/I know in real life want to paint me something to put in my house, please do it.
Criteria: It could be absolutely anything, but it has to reflect our friendship so that when I look at it, I remember you.
